The Product Manager translates high level business needs into Features, to be implemented by software and firmware teams. The Product Manager is responsible for driving product strategy, for assigned product(s), which are normally part of a multi – product Solutions. The role therefore requires a strategic mindset as well as collaboration skills.


This specific role will focus on our pivCLASS Solution. This means that there is a great deal of collaboration needed with hardware teams for the overall Solution. A very important part of this role is also to obtain and uphold relevant certifications.

What you will be doing

  • Understand customer needs (communicated through product marketing and solution management)
  • Develop and communicate product vision and strategy
  • Break down Epics and Capabilities to Features and Enabler Features, with the support of Architects
  • Work closely with Architects and Product Owners to facilitate further break down
  • Manage priorities and backlog to ensure timely delivery of Features
  • Act as Product Manager in PI Planning and all other SAFe rituals
  • Interact with QA teams to ensure proper coverage
  • Ultimately responsible for the quality of assigned products
  • Ultimately responsible for obtaining and keeping relevant certifications

What we are looking for    

  • Bachelor's degree (Master is beneficial but not required)
  • Proven knowledge and experience in agile methodologies (Hands-on experience and a certificate in any of: Scrum and SAFe®, Kanban, Lean etc.)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • SAFe® Product Manager (SAFe® PMPO) certificate is an advantage
  • Work experience as a Product Manager or similar role in product management
  • Experience in JIRA or similar tool
  • Experience in Miro is beneficial, but not required
  • Significant experience in software and firmware development
  • Experience in hardware centered solutions
  • Experience with Product Management in agile development scenarios
  • Business acumen
  • Good understanding of the SAFe methodology
  • Analytical thinking and strategic mindset with strong technical knowledge
  • Pro-active, hands-on and self-motivated
  • Able to work autonomously but also operate in a strong, cohesive team
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrate strategic business judgement in technical matters
  • Knowledge of the following is meriting, but not essential
    • Physical Access Control industry
    • Public Key Infrastructure
    • MS Windows & Linux Software development & delivery for on-prem and cloud
    • General IT Network addressing and protocols
    • SQL and like database interaction
    • Experience in working with standards and certifications organizations
