As a Sales Manager, Extended Access Technologies, Indonesia in Extended Access Technologies, APAC department you will be working with OEMs, Partners, Licensees and Channel partners in Indonesia region and working with HID Extended Access Technologies business development / inside sales / partner program management for Indonesia region.

 

What you will be doing

  • Work with OEMs, Partners and Licensees in Indonesia region:
    • Communicate effectively with all customers:
      • Respond to all customer inquiries in a timely manner
      • Follow through and meet all commitments
      • Manage the expectations of the developer for product capability, organizational response and developer responsibilities
      • Analyze customers' concerns and requirements for their projects, make recommendations accordingly
    • Work directly with customers to ensure the proper product/service selection is made for the requested application
    • Use knowledge of HID Extended Access Product & Solutions to assist third-parties in the integration of board level assemblies, finished goods products, chipsets, and antennas into third-party hardware/systems.
    • Support the current customer base by proactively managing design-in efforts and reported field issues.
    • Understand key partners’ development schedules to ensure latest HID products are integrated for new designs.
    • Establish communications with all departments to facilitate the resolution of customer related problems where necessary.
    • Establish and maintain a strong value-added relationship with all Advantage HID EAT Partners.
    • Write Customer Requirements Documents (Custom Product Opportunities, Technical Statements and Statements of Work) that include the customer’s go-to-market plans.

 

  • Work with HID Extended Access Technologies business development / inside sales / partner program management for Indonesia region:
    • Target new customers in desired vertical markets with the result being a completed hardware / software integration.
    • Target potential customers, in conjunction with business development, for new embedded & biometric product offerings (i.e., new embedded or biometric board or module products, readers,  coils or virtual cards, etc.).
    • Work with other HID EAT team members to develop tactics to expand the Advantage HID EAT Partner Program.
    • Identify new product categories to expand the HID partner community to new areas.
    • Update SalesForce.com to insure that team members have timely and accurate access to sales and other data.
    • Make suggestions on how to achieve new business and volume goals.
    • Leverage industry relationships to uncover new business opportunities.
    • Participate on account management teams as necessary to identify improvement opportunities, developmental needs, and account growth mechanisms.
    • Accurately forecast the volume of Extended Access technologies products required in accordance with the HID forecasting system.
    • Effectively communicate the field/customer requirements and needs to product marketing / engineering as required.
    • Work with HID compliance team for certification issues and to coordinate 3rd party requested specifications to meet with end customer’s requirement.
    • Support the HID Connect tradeshow booth I&D efforts.

 

  • Work with channel partners in Indonesia region:
    • Arrange training on Extended Access Technologies products and other applications as needed.
    • Interface with the channel partners, sales teams and provide support as needed to ensure the incoming revenue stream.
    • Work with the channel to insure that:  (1) there is solid communication between the OEM channel or distributors and HID EAT team; and (2) “crossover” customers are appropriately resourced and managed.
    • Prepare communications to the channel sales partners about new Partner product offerings such that the channel sales partners can “push” these offerings when appropriate. 
    • Gain a working knowledge of HID’s channel strategy and channel partners so as to effectively work with both channel partners and end-users.  
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as deemed appropriate.

 

What we are looking for

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment is required.
  • Degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering or engineering related subject.
  • Technical knowledge of products and solutions using RFID technology & Biometrics product is wanted.
  • Embedded processors / processing experience is a plus.
  • 5 – 8 years’ relevant experience in Field Application and sales with a proven track record in achieving revenue quotas and strategic growth goals. 
  • Experience in Semiconductor industry is a plus
  • Experience in the development of strategic account plans is a plus. 
  • Ability to speak in Indonesian language is a must.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to speak and hear to facilitate various forms of communication.
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills required.
  • Ability to write and give presentations that conform to the prescribed business style and format. 
  • Ability to present information to management and public groups as a “speaker”.  
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions and to deal with abstract terms and variables. 
  • Must be able to mentally process various types of data simultaneously
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret important business or market trends / drivers from journals, trade shows, business publications, etc.
  • Ability to think strategically, synthesize complex business and financial data, and develop innovative solutions.         
  • Must be willing to learn to document customer activity in SalesForce.com.
