As I take a few moments to reflect on the past year, I would like to thank our customers and partners for their support during the challenging business climate we all faced in 2009.
Customer focus has always been the core of our business at HID Global and this took on an even greater importance for us over the course of the year. Early on, we placed customer satisfaction excellence as the priority for every major initiative we adopted during the year. Our overall objective was to make sure that development in new programs, products and services were specifically designed to optimize both past and future investments our customer make in HID Global solutions.
A prime example of this is our launch of Genuine HID™ which includes several important benefits that enhance the value we deliver to customers, ensuring customers can invest in HID Global secure identity solutions with confidence. As part of Genuine HID, our “Customer First” mantra reinforces that HID customers are at the center of everything we do and resulted in the introduction of a number of new, innovative product, infrastructure, and service enhancements throughout the year. It also inspired the launch of the Industry Blog on the HID Global web site, our Voice of the Customer survey, our “I Want ” campaign, and other programs designed specifically to open more channels of communication with our customers. And our commitment will not end as we close this year. In 2010, HID Global will continue to provide superior products, best-in-class customer service, and innovative programs that represent compelling value to our customers and partners over the long term. I look forward to providing a preview soon of what’s ahead for HID Global and our customers next year.
